IN MEMORIAL 1926 EDWARD MALINOWSKI 2012

EXALTED RULER’S MESSAGE:
Greetings,
Hope all have weathered the winter well. February brings us PER night on February 7, at which time we will initiate several new
members. The meeting is preceded by dinner at 6:00, so remember to sign up if you plan on attending. We will also have the
nominations for next years officers at this meeting. If you would like any information, feel free to contact me, or any of the Past
Exalted Rulers, or current officers.
The Trustee's have completed another project in obtaining an ATM machine in the Lodge, as was requested by many of the
members and guests. It is located in the hall outside the main room where it is accessible to all who attend functions, as well as
the members.
February is also ENF month, hope everyone has made a donation, and if you haven't this would be a perfect time to. We will be
having the annual chili cook off on February 26 in conjunction with the Daytona 500. This event begins at 1:00 and is always a
good time. Please bring your favorite chili down for judging, or your appetite and taste buds and help in the judging. There will be
raffles to benefit ENF and a good time for all.
I would like to encourage the members of the Lodge to attend a meeting, find out first hand what is happening, have some input,
and ask some questions. Although we have over 500 members, only 10 to 15 show up at the meetings. Why???? Give us some
feedback, what can we do to get members to the meetings, vote, and help us guide the Lodge into the future.
I would like to congratulate Norm Graves as the January Elk of the Month. Great job Norm, and thank you on behalf of the Lodge
for all you do.
Fraternally,
John Glenowicz, PER
Exalted Ruler, 997
